Citizen Centric Governance (PC-002)

Noonu Atoll is revolutionizing councils through the Citizen-Centric Governance Program. Citizens will access live development plans, projects and programs. participate in online discussions and submit service requests through a central web platform. Council meetings will be modernized with a digital system, enabling remote participation, transparent decision-making, and easy access to meeting decisions for the public. Standard operating procedures, workflows, and approvals will be digitized to expedite service delivery and empower staff. Multilingual outreach and training programs ensure all citizens can engage effectively. This citizen-centric approach prioritizes efficiency, transparency, and public participation, empowering both islanders and councils to build a more responsive and inclusive local government system in the Atoll.

Noonu Wellness (PC-004)

The program aims to address the critical issue of drug addiction in Noonu Atoll through a comprehensive approach. By integrating detoxification, rehabilitation, vocational training, and reintegration services, we seek to empower individuals to overcome addiction and rebuild their lives. With a strong emphasis on cultural sensitivity and community engagement, the program strives to create a supportive environment for long-term recovery. Through collaboration with government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations, we aim to reduce the prevalence of drug addiction and its associated harms in Noonu Atoll.

It models the long-term consequences of each strategy, choosing the path that best benefits islands. Redefining Noonu Atoll Scape translates plans into action. The Council will enact sustainable policies ensuring equitable access to resources while safeguarding the environment and monitor and adapt these plans as island community evolves.
