The waste management component of the Atoll Loop project will focus on establishing a sustainable and efficient system for managing waste generated in Noonu Atoll. This will involve identifying and classifying different waste streams, implementing a comprehensive waste collection system, establishing an upcycling/recycling center, promoting upcycling and recycling businesses, and encouraging waste reduction practices. By implementing these measures, the project aims to reduce the environmental impact of waste, create economic opportunities through repair, reuse, upcycling, and promote sustainable practices within the community.
