To enhance the resilience of Noonu Atoll to potential disasters, the Atoll Loop project will implement a comprehensive disaster preparedness plan. This will involve conducting a risk assessment to identify potential hazards, developing emergency response plans, establishing early warning systems, creating evacuation plans, improving infrastructure resilience, promoting community preparedness, fostering collaboration, strengthening social cohesion and conducting regular monitoring and evaluation. By implementing these measures, the project aims to reduce the potential for loss and damage including loss of life, improve the community's capacity to respond effectively to emergencies, and create a more resilient and sustainable future for Noonu Atoll.
