Noonu Atoll Council is taking a leadership role in advocating for circular economy policies at the national level. Council believe a national approach is crucial for tackling waste reduction challenges effectively.  To build a strong case, council will gather data and highlight the environmental and economic benefits of circular practices.  Through targeted advocacy and awareness campaigns, council will engage policymakers and stakeholders.  Building partnerships with other atoll councils and environmental organizations will strengthen collective voice. Council will focus on specific policy priorities such as promoting waste reduction incentives or mandating responsible product design.  Finally, the council will monitor and evaluate the impact of advocacy efforts, ensuring to continue to champion effective national waste reduction policies for a more sustainable Maldives.
