Noonu Atoll aims to become a model of modern governance, leveraging digital tools to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and increase transparency. The vision extends beyond digital solutions, with plans to reform local governance structures, empower residents, and establish the Noonu Atoll Local Company to drive development initiatives. Residents can expect expanded services, optimized workspaces, and special allowances for council staff. The council is committed to a comprehensive digital transformation, including research to identify external resources that can support local councils. A program will be implemented to consolidate public office buildings, and an atoll promotion magazine will be launched to boost tourism and attract new residents and businesses. A work-from-home policy will also be established to promote work-life balance and attract top talent.
