We are thrilled to announce the signing of a partnership and grant agreement with Land Sea Maldives, for Women-Led Collective Advocacy for Climate Action (WCACA) project. This partnership represents a significant step towards fostering sustainable solution planning and empowering our communities. Together, we aim to address key areas that are vital for the long-term well-being and resilience of our community.

The partnership focuses on the following areas:
  1. Sustainable Land Management 🌴Enhancing land use planning and usage while protecting our natural resources.

  2. Gender-Equitable Land Rights 👩‍🌾Driving equality and inclusion through land use planning and management practices.

  3. Climate Adaptation 🌍Preparing Atoll communities to adapt to the challenges of climate change.

  4. Disaster Risk Reduction ⛈️Building systems that keep communities safer and more resilient.

With a contribution of MVR 400,000 by Land Sea Maldives will facilitate the implementation of these segments while ensuring alignment with activities of Reimagining Noonu Atoll Binaaveshi Project are at the core. as it is aimed at fostering sustainable land use planning, allocation and usage. We envision a future where every member of our community thrives. Through equitable land rights, sustainable land management, and disaster risk reduction, we aim to build a resilient and inclusive community that treasures its natural resources and protects its people.
