We are delighted to announce the signing of a significant four-party agreement to deliver post-land use plan consultancy services in Noonu Kudafari. The project aims to enhance the sustainable development and planning of the island community.

The agreement involves a collaborative effort between the Kudafari Island Council, the Noonu Atoll Council, and esteemed Atollscape consultancy. Together, we will undertake a comprehensive evaluation of the land use plan (LUP) allocations, establish priorities, and develop Technical Design Briefs. Through this partnership, we aim to deliver high-quality deliverables, including an inception evaluation report, Technical Design Brief, and monthly reports.

To support this project, the Kudafari Island Council has made a significant contribution of MVR 185,000, while the Council has allocated MVR 35,000 from the 2024 budget. This combined contribution of MVR 235,000 demonstrates our commitment to the sustainable development of Noonu Kudafari.

The Design Development component of the project will provide detailed design development drawings and documentation, including architectural and structural detail design. We will also offer tender assistance and post-tender consultancy to ensure a smooth implementation process. Deliverables for this phase include Schematic Design, Design Development, Tender, and Post-tender consultancy.

We extend our gratitude to all parties involved for their dedication and collaboration in advancing the sustainable development goals for Noonu Kudafari. We are committed to working closely with the Kudafari Island Council, the Noonu Atoll Council, and the community to ensure the successful implementation of this consultancy project.
