We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Drug Agency (NDA) to focus on creating local solutions for drug rehabilitation and reintegration within Noonu Atoll. This partnership reflects our shared dedication to addressing the challenges posed by drug abuse through sustainable and community-driven approaches.

Under the terms of the MoU, we will work collaboratively to develop initiatives aimed at reducing drug dependency while prioritizing the reintegration of affected individuals into society. The agreement outlines key responsibilities, including the implementation of rehabilitation pilot programs tailored to the specific needs of our communities.

Additionally, a structured framework for monitoring and evaluating the initiatives has been established to ensure long-term success. By involving community stakeholders and fostering a supportive network, our goal is to create an environment where individuals can recover and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

This partnership is an important step in addressing drug-related issues locally, with a focus on solutions that are sustainable and inclusive. Through these joint efforts, we remain committed to building a healthier and more resilient community in Noonu Atoll.
