Noonu Atoll Quran Competition Begins July 20 in Velidhoo

We are pleased to announce that Noonu Atoll Quran Competition will officially begin on August 20 at 8:30 PM at Noonu Atoll Education Centre in Velidhoo. This prestigious event has drawn participation from schools across all islands in Noonu Atoll, reflecting the strong commitment to Quranic education within our community.

The competition has been carefully structured into six stages, ensuring a thorough and fair evaluation of participants’ Quranic recitation skills. This year, we are proud to welcome 181 participants, making it one of the most significant Quranic competitions in the atoll.

As organisers, we believe this event is more than a competition—it is a platform to promote Quranic learning, preserve Islamic traditions, and strengthen community bonds. We are grateful to the Noonu Atoll Council for their generous financial support, which has enabled schools across the atoll to participate fully.
