We are excited to announce and collaboration with the police initiative and launch of the "Hatharu Angolhi" program—an initiative by Noonu Atoll Police—set to take place in Kudafari. This program is a significant step towards enhancing social cohesion and community security across the atoll.

The "Hatharu Angolhi" event is designed to address key community challenges through a series of engaging and impactful activities. Highlights include anti-bullying awareness sessions, home and fire safety workshops, first aid training, team-building exercises, and a vehicle licensing program. These activities aim to create opportunities for learning and engagement while fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility among participants. Individuals from all walks of life—including students, parents, office staff, and members of the larger community—are encouraged to take part in this multi-faceted initiative.

This program was a central focus during our recent meeting with Noonu Atoll Police, where we discussed its goals, logistics, and potential impact. Together, we are committed to collaborating for its successful implementation, recognizing this initiative as an opportunity to strengthen our community’s bonds and enhance the quality of life for all residents.

The "Hatharu Angolhi" program is also closely aligned with the Noonu Atoll Resilient Communities Plan. Additional avenues for collaboration under the plan, including drafting local and municipal services regulatory frameworks and exploring new co-led programs, were also discussed.

Through initiatives like "Hatharu Angolhi," we are reinforcing our shared vision of a resilient and inclusive Noonu Atoll—one rooted in trust, mutual support, and safety. We warmly invite the entire community to join us in Kudafari for this transformative event. Together, we can build a safer and more united future for Noonu Atoll.
